Maradona entered to his professional career with Argentinos Juniors on 20th October 1976. He played there since 1976 to 1981. Maradona secured his first league winners’ medal in 1982 for Argentinos Juniors.
Maradona was transferred to Barcelona in Spain after the World Cup 1982 in June. In 1983 Maradona won the Copa del Rey as reffered to Spain's annual national cup competition against Real Madrid, and the Spanish Super Cup, against Althletic de Bilbao. He was transferred to Napoli in Italy’s Serie A in 1984.
At Napoli, Maradona arrived at the peak of his professional career quickly becoming an respected star among the club's fans distinguishing the team to the most successful epoch in its history in his time there.
During his time in Italy, Maradona was charged US $ 70,000 as fines from his club for being absent games and parctices, He was also claimed of some suspicion on an alleged friendship with the Camorra.
Maradona left Napoli in shame in 1992 due to failing a drug test for cocaine. Later he joined his next team, Sevilla from 1992 to 1993. Before the World Cup 1986, Maradona appeared for Tottenham Hotspur in friendly tournament against Milan and won the match by 2-1.
